About the role:

We are looking for an Event Technology Specialist to lead the end-to-end delivery of event technology solutions, primarily for pharmaceutical clients. Working within our scalable event technology team, this role combines hands-on platform expertise with strong client partnership and ownership of complex event deliveries. You will support in-person, hybrid and virtual events, while also helping to improve our tools, processes and ways of working.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile, global pharmaceutical events and take ownership of complex event technology deliveries. You will be part of a specialist, collaborative technology team, with the chance to influence how technology is used and developed across the business. The role offers exposure to a wide range of clients, event formats and platforms, within a fast-growing environment that supports learning, development and continuous improvement.

As an Event Technology Specialist, you will:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of event technology solutions across multiple client projects, primarily within the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Manage the full event technology lifecycle, including pre-event build, live event delivery, and post-event reporting.
  • Build and deliver event technology solutions such as registration websites, registration journeys, event apps, and webinar platforms using client or BCD systems.
  • Act as the main technology contact for clients, ensuring solutions are delivered to a high standard of quality, accuracy, and reliability.
  • Support complex or bespoke technology builds in collaboration with the Senior Event Technology Manager and provide onsite support when required.
  • Work closely with account managers, operations teams, and wider BCD teams to deliver solutions aligned with client objectives and support new client onboarding.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in core event technology platforms, primarily Cvent, while contributing to proposals, presentations, training, and solution development.
  • Drive continuous improvement by reviewing project outcomes, tracking engagement metrics, improving templates and processes, supporting R&D, and staying current with industry and platform updates.

You’re good at:

  • Communicating clearly and effectively, with strong organisation and interpersonal skills.
  • Building confident relationships with both clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Paying close attention to detail and solving problems in a practical, solutions-focused way.
  • Managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Using data and insight to support decision-making and improve outcomes.
  • Presenting information clearly and delivering training with confidence.
  • Learning new technologies quickly, with a curious, proactive approach.

You might also have:

  • Experience in pharmaceutical meetings is an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree.

You should know:

  • This is a UK Remote role.
  • Our standard working hours are 09.00 - 17.30 with an hour break.
  • You must have the right to work in the UK.
