About The Role

Join our vibrant venue sourcing team as a Team Manager, where you’ll champion mentoring and drive your team toward success. You’ll engage with key stakeholders, negotiate top‑notch venue deals, and ensure our service delivery is nothing short of excellent. This role is for those passionate about developing talent and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

As a Team Manager You Will

  • Day‑to‑day line management, mentoring and development of your team
  • Overall responsibility for your assigned team, including workload allocation, SLA monitoring and financial KPI management
  • Consult with stakeholders to gather all requirements and deliver the right event solution to meet objectives
  • Consistently apply and demonstrate our expertise to clients and act as a subject‑matter expert for the wider team
  • Manage external vendors and suppliers for sourcing, negotiating, contracting and service delivery
  • Attend and contribute to client meetings as required

  • Inspiring communication skills—both written and verbal—to interpret client objectives effectively
  • Building confidence with clients and showcasing our expertise as industry leaders
  • Ensuring your team secures the perfect venue and the best deal without compromising quality
  • Being the go‑to expert on meeting venues and destinations, both internally and externally
  • Mentoring and developing team members with experience of line management of a team
  • Wealth of hotel, conference centre and destination knowledge in the UK and overseas
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to react, think on your feet, offer solutions and manage multiple projects and timelines at once

You Might Also Have

  • Familiarity with the Cvent RFP platform or other venue sourcing systems

You Should Know

  • The role is hybrid with three days based in our London office
