About the Role
We are looking for a Venue Sourcing Specialist to join our London office. You will provide operational ownership of key client relationships, mentor and develop other team members, and deliver high‑quality, end‑to‑end venue sourcing for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Take operational ownership of key client relationships, collaborating with the Customer Experience Manager / Account Management, understanding objectives and delivering exceptional service.
- Provide an end‑to‑end venue sourcing service, including shaping briefs, sourcing venues, negotiating rates and contractual terms, creating proposals and providing pre‑ and post‑event support.
- Mentor and support fellow team members, ensuring client objectives and messages are managed clearly and proactively.
- Support client review meetings, ensuring all objectives and service levels are met or exceeded.
- Work with BCD M&E finance to ensure invoicing and financial matters are delivered efficiently.
- Continuously develop venue destination knowledge through relationships, familiarisation visits, workshops and webinars.
Qualifications
- Proven UK and international venue and destination knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills with a calm, positive, collaborative approach.
- Proven negotiating and contracting experience with external suppliers.
- Comfortable dealing with people at all levels, face‑to‑face and by telephone/email.
- Significant experience in a customer‑facing support environment.
- MS Office skills, including Excel, and experience entering/extracting data from databases.
- Flexible, proactive approach; able to juggle multiple priorities and adapt to change.
Preferred Qualifications
- Venue booking system experience.
- Previous experience with Cvent.

Additional Information
- This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days a week in the London office.
- Shift patterns for venue search are 9‑5:30, 8:30‑5 or 9:30‑6 on a rotating basis, with an hour lunch break.
- Travel may be required to attend company meetings, events or familiarisation trips in the UK or overseas.
