About The Role

We are looking for an Event Project Manager, Delegate Management to join our team for 12 months. This is a client-facing role responsible for delivering operational excellence across multiple delegate management and event projects in the UK and overseas. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will ensure every project is delivered in line with client expectations, agreed budgets, quality standards and operational frameworks.

You will act as a senior operational contact for clients, supporting project delivery teams, managing risk and liability, and ensuring financial reporting and systems accuracy. You will also play an important role in identifying opportunities for growth within assigned client accounts.

As An Event Project Manager, You Will

  • Lead the operational delivery of delegate management projects for multiple clients, ensuring delivery is on time, on budget and aligned to agreed scope and contractual obligations.
  • Build and manage strong client relationships, acting as a senior escalation point and trusted operational contact throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee budgets, financial tracking, reporting, commission reconciliation and system accuracy, ensuring commercial performance is closely monitored.
  • Manage project resources and support the development, motivation and performance of team members to maintain a high-performing delivery team.
  • Drive best practice, process improvement, compliance and documentation across all assigned projects, ensuring client SLAs, data privacy and contractual requirements are met.

  • Building strong client relationships and confidently leading client conversations, meetings and escalations.
  • Managing multiple projects, priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working with budgets, forecasts and financial reporting with a high level of accuracy.
  • Leading teams across remote and office-based environments, while keeping people engaged and accountable.
  • Staying calm under pressure, making sound decisions quickly and adapting to changing client and project needs.

You Might Also Have

  • Knowledge of hotel contracting, rooming processes, housing management or event technology platforms.
  • Experience of working with BCD M&E products and services or within a meetings and events agency environment.

You Should Know

  • This is a 12 month fixed term contract.
  • This is a hybrid role that requires 2 days a week in the BCD Fleet office.
  • Our standard working hours are 09.00 - 17.30 with an hour break.
  • You must have the right to work in the UK.
  • You must have the ability and want to travel in the UK and Overseas.
