Due to increased business levels, we are looking for an Event Director to join one of our client dedicated teams supporting our client in the financial investment & financial services sector. You will be experienced in execution of end-to-end meetings and events worldwide to include creative concept proposals, sourcing, negotiating, contracting, planning, attendee management, onsite execution and reconciliation. These meetings and events are complex in nature and require high touch and outstanding customer service.
You thrive on juggling multiple projects, comfortable in guiding and building relationships with C-suite stakeholders, meeting and exceeding expectations, and get great satisfaction from seeing it all come together onsite!
As an Event Director, you will:
- Provide strategic direction on events to include experience design, activation concepts and amplification plans.
- Collaborate with key business stakeholders as a thought partner in translating Event briefs and regional or global priorities into strategic creative concepts to support the narrative.
- Project manage high complexity events across a variety of formats (in-person, virtual and hybrid) infusing customized, out of the box ideas and solutions.
- Drive project management for key priority events from inception to execution with support teams including budget ownership, management and reconciliation.
- Communication – listening, written and verbal - able to interpret our client’s objectives to be delivered into all aspects of their event.
- Instil confidence in your clients that we are experts in our field.
- Experience of handling VIP, delivering events for Executive Level and C-Suite events in the financial/media/technology industry.
- Proven end to end UK and overseas event delivery experience managing high complexity events across a variety of formats.
- Proven meeting technology and delegate registration knowledge and expertise.
- Excellent attention to detail and budgeting management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft office applications.
- Ability to react, think on your feet, offer solutions, work on multiple projects and timelines at once.
- Ability to travel regularly in the UK and Overseas.
