About the role: The Strategic Change Delivery Lead is responsible for leading and overseeing a number of internal projects designed to drive business change, support team integration, and drive process and efficiency improvements across The Collective team. The role relies on a process‑driven self‑starter with strong organisational skills and discretion, able to build relationships across teams to translate information into effective processes and proactively solve problems. Requires excellent time management and the ability to prioritise and re‑prioritise while managing multiple projects and stakeholders. This role is a fixed term contract for a period of 6 months which may be extended or become a permanent role.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead internal project planning and coordination across The Collective, creating clear project plans, RACIs, timelines, and stakeholder accountability.
  • Drive project progress by leading status meetings, tracking deadlines, managing priorities, and identifying overlaps or efficiency opportunities across projects.
  • Support leadership with internal and offsite meetings and events, helping to plan and manage key activities effectively.
  • Review and improve systems, tools, processes, and templates across departments to create a more aligned, integrated, and efficient way of working.
  • Identify AI and automation opportunities by auditing current tools and systems, resolving challenges, and working with teams to improve integration and process efficiency.
  • Support strategic improvement projects, conduct research into project management tools, and implement ongoing updates to SOPs and working practices.
  • Conduct thorough audits and identify opportunities for system improvements.
  • Develop project plans and manage rollouts with ease.
  • Build strong relationships and foster collaboration across departments.
  • Craft engaging training materials and support staff on new processes.
  • Maintain a proactive and solutions‑focused mindset, even in high‑pressure situations.
  • Think forwards and embrace change, being technologically minded.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in the events industry and a solid operational background.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and techniques.
  • A knack for juggling multiple priorities while staying organized.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of The Collective & BCD M&E products and services.

Additional Information: This is a fixed term contract role hybrid based role in either the Derby, Milton Keynes or Fleet office. Our standard working hours are 9am – 5:30pm with an hour break. You must have the right to work in the UK.
