About the Role:

Join our global client dedicated team as a Venue Finding / Sourcing Specialist, where you'll be at the heart of creating unforgettable experiences for our clients! In this dynamic role, you'll navigate the world of negotiations, sourcing amazing venues, and ensuring every detail is perfect for our clients' events. If you're passionate about making connections and possess a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you!

As a Sourcing Specialist, you will:

  • Ensure Request for Proposal (RFPs) meet all client needs for hotel and non-hotel suppliers.
  • Maintain the highest level of quality, professionalism and integrity when negotiating with suppliers.
  • Negotiate all supplier contracts for the best possible prices and concessions in order to meet savings expectation on meeting spend.
  • Consult throughout the entire sourcing process and make appropriate suggestions to ensure meeting success regarding proposed meeting venues.
  • Prepare availability grid with appropriate options, track first quoted to negotiated.

You're Good At:

  • Crafting and negotiating venue contracts that deliver exceptional value.
  • Comfortable with using Cvent RFP tool.
  • Developing relationships with clients and vendors, ensuring everyone's needs are met.
  • Managing multiple sourcing assignments with finesse and creativity.
  • Presenting venue proposals to your stakeholders in multiple formats showcasing your knowledge.
  • Staying ahead of industry trends to provide top-notch recommendations.
  • Utilising tools for efficient data management and vendor communication.

You Might Also Have:

  • Experience with venue booking tools.
  • Experience of venue sourcing for financial services clients.

You should know:

  • This is a UK Remote based role.
  • The working hours are 9am-5:30pm with an hour's lunch break.
