For this role, you will work 6 PM - 2 AM BST Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

We are very excited to be on the lookout for an experienced Entertainment Consultant to join our Media & Entertainment division. This fast-paced and interesting role is based in the United Kingdom, and would suit someone who has a passion for entertainment travel, as our clients are major players in the TV and Film industries.

As a Senior Entertainment Travel Consultant, you will:

  • Fulfill incoming travel requests/inquiries accurately and efficiently via Sabre GDS.
  • Have the ability to assist with group bookings, air/hotels, etc.
  • Be able to work well and remain calm under pressure, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Anticipate and provide proactive assistance on potential challenges that may arise for the client.
  • Understand and accurately support Production with crew and talent movements.
  • Be able to manage location and large group movements.
  • Confidently manage multiple complex itineraries.
  • Willingly aid team members within and across teams.
  • Provide travel offers and general travel advice to travellers.
  • Understand and accurately apply travel supplier rules.
  • Maintain current knowledge of the state of the various travel industries supported.
  • Provide the customer with the required industry information, such as low fares, exchange costs, and penalties.
  • Adhere to client and BCD Media & Entertainment policies and procedures to maintain quality control.

About you:

  • Solid working knowledge of the travel industry, policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Knowledge of travel industry system GDS Sabre and GDS Amadeus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
  • Ability to work independently, exercising discretion and judgement.
  • Demonstrated professional customer service skills.
