In this role, you will be accountable for signing new, profitable corporate travel accounts with a total annual Air & Rail volume of $30M in the United Kingdom and Europe. You will do this by using effective sales and marketing techniques and with the coordination of available resources.
As a Sales Director, United Kingdom, you will:
- Increase revenues through new client acquisitions of customers.
- Identify and maintain a prospect pipeline adequate to meet the annual target.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with prospective and current client key contacts, continually appraising travel industry trends and BCD Travel products and services.
- Negotiate all client contract terms consistent with company approval processes and commercial policy promptly.
- Use the company-provided CRM (Salesforce) to document and support all sales activities.
- Develop business plans to obtain profitable new accounts.
About you:
- Business travel industry experience connected to the ERM vertical required.
- Experience in a sales position at a corporate level.
- Effective communication skills, oral, written, and presentation.
- Excellent English language skills.
- Computer literate in business software applications.
- Ability and willingness to travel frequently.
