About the role: Are you a passionate leader who loves sports and events? As the Team Leader for Sports & Events (12M FTC), you'll get to inspire and develop our incredible team while driving exciting programmes for client dedicated banking team. With daily challenges and dynamic relationships, every day will be filled with the thrill of ticketing and social events.

As a Team Leader, Sports & Events, you will:

  • Foster client relationships with the Regional Account Director and assist with client project goals as needed.
  • Conduct team performance reviews per company standards.
  • Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreement operational elements.
  • Manage and delegate team workload effectively.
  • Oversee accurate data entry within the team.
  • Manage multiple programme timelines and ensure clear communication throughout the planning process.
  • Update operational SOPs and communicate changes to the team.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Account Director, clients, and suppliers to enhance operational efficiency.

You're good at:

  • Leading, training, and motivating a dynamic team in the sports and events space.
  • Building strong relationships with corporate hospitality and event ticketing suppliers.
  • Managing multiple projects with excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Analysing key metrics and providing strategic insights to drive improvements.
  • Communicating effectively at all levels, ensuring clarity with stakeholders and team members.

You might also have:

  • A degree related to hospitality, events, or business management.
  • Experience in the corporate hospitality and event ticketing industry.
  • Experience using event management technology like Cvent.

You should know:

  • This is a hybrid role that requires 1 day a week in the Fleet office and 1-2 days a week in the London Client office (travel expenses would be reimbursed).
  • Our standard working hours are 9.00 - 17.30 with an hour break.
  • You must have the right to work in the UK.
