In this role, you will be responsible for client retention, contract negotiation, implementation, and business consolidation, sales of products and services, financials (budgets, billing, payment, and profitability), business planning and reviews, and establishing relationships with key decision-makers in multiple regions, staff development, business continuance and escalation of operational issues.
As a Global Account Manager, you will:
- Develop a truly global travel program with your client.
- Implement a Global Business Plan to establish, achieve and measure the business objectives of the global travel program.
- Manage Global Program Management team and provide coaching and mentoring.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key customer decision-makers.
- Explore opportunities to expand client servicing relationships through coordination of sales effort, pricing, and implementation.
- Oversee the implementation of new business, working closely with the global implementation team to ensure customer expectations are met.
About you:
- Prior travel management company or related business travel account experience desired.
- Account management experience required.
- Extensive business travel industry experience.
- Solid Regional or Global Program Management experience.
- Experience in implementing and managing large market/global clients.
- Ability to travel when needed.
