About The Role

Salary – £20.00 an hour

Location – BCA Leeds

Working Hours – Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.30pm (plus occasional Saturdays)

Main purpose of the role: To assess, recommend and complete mechanical repairs to enhance the value of wholesale remarketing vehicles.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • To complete mechanical repairs in line with approved methods.
  • To work productively ensuring repairs are completed within the deadline and work prioritised to achieve maximum efficiency.
  • To highlight when repairs are not possible, or an alternative solution is required.
  • To have a high attention to detail and to escalate where repairs could be completed more cost effectively.
  • To maintain a high level of housekeeping and cleanliness within workspaces.
  • To ensure standard operating procedures are rigorously followed and documentation completed accurately.
  • To undertake other duties as requested by your manager.

To be successful, you'll bring some of the following experience with you:

  • Experienced Level 3 Mechanical Technician.
  • A broad understanding of cars and LCVs, the ability to observe, diagnose and repair mechanical faults and vehicle servicing.
  • A clear team ethic being able to focus on immediate technical tasks as well as understanding work in all departments must be balanced to achieve the business' overall goals.
