Working Hours: 4 on 4 off shift pattern (07:00 - 19:00)

Main Purpose of The Role: We are looking for a Parts Advisor for our site in Corby. As a Parts Advisor, you will be responsible for ordering parts and consumables as well as storing and issuing parts to the workshop. This is an ideal role for a candidate with previous experience of working as a stock controller or parts administrator.

Key Responsibilities:

• Booking goods into the system
• Cross-referring vehicle parts
• Liaising with the stock team to order required parts
• Completing stock checks both physical stock holding and system balances
• Answering all email and telephone queries
• Completing weekly reports and all relevant paperwork
• Assisting in the provision of quality administrative support to the workshop
• Maintaining all systems ensuring that adequate and appropriate records are created and maintained
• Ensuring that work is carried out efficiently to ensure deadlines are met
• Other ad-hoc duties

Knowledge and Experience Required:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role (essential)
• Previous experience within the automotive sector (desirable)
• Computer literate with experience in using Excel (not essential)
• Strong communicative skills – speaking, reading and writing (essential)
• Excellent numerical and literacy skills
• Passionate to work within the motor industry and take pride in their work, to the highest standards of work set by customers
• Excellent attention to detail
