We’re looking for a Driver Resource & Inventory Manager join our team, ensuring every new driver is equipped, onboarded and supported to deliver exceptional service from day one.
This role blends strategic resource planning, hands‑on inventory and asset control, supplier management and data‑driven insight to create a smooth, reliable and cost‑efficient operational experience across the business.
As the central link between Resourcing, Operations, IT, Finance and our external supply chain, you will oversee the full lifecycle of driver resources from procurement, allocation and tracking, through to recovery and replacement.
Your key responsibilities include
- Managing procurement, allocation and tracking of all driver equipment (kits, BCAL IDs, fuel/EV cards, trade plates and more).
- Forecasting stock requirements aligned with recruitment volumes and operational demand.
- Maintaining comprehensive asset registers and ensuring full lifecycle visibility.
- Conducting regular audits and ensuring compliance, accuracy and readiness of all equipment.
- Ownership of core resource systems including Manpack, MIB, trackers, uniform portals and fuel card systems.
- Developing and delivering high‑quality operational reports and data insights that support decision‑making.
- Analysing utilisation and consumption patterns to identify efficiencies and cost savings.
- Leading and developing a team of coordinators and field support agents
- Championing process improvements, automation and system enhancements.
- Managing supplier performance, SLAs, cost‑effectiveness and operational readiness.
- Supporting audits, finance tracking, invoicing and budget management.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience in asset / inventory management or resource operations.
- Advanced Excel skills (modelling, complex formulas, automation).
- Experience in high‑volume, fast‑paced operational environments.
- Exceptional accuracy, organisation and attention to detail.
- Confident stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proactive problem‑solver with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Tech‑savvy and comfortable managing complex systems and data.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, challenge and develop a team.
- Experience managing budgets and driving cost‑efficiency.
- Experience within logistics or driver operations an advantage.
- Familiarity with systems such as Manpack, MIB, fuel card portals, or similar resource‑planning tools.
