Job Status: Permanent

Main Purpose of The Role: We are recruiting four vacancies across IT, for recent graduates! Two in our Enterprise Applications team and a further two in Technology Operations. Constellation Automotive Group Enterprise Applications Team are looking for a motivated and analytical recent graduate to join as a Junior with a long term learning journey to eventually grow into a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Product Owner. You will work with an experienced Manager who will develop and improve your skill set through hands‑on project experience, and structured training. Longer term you will help you develop your skills to enable you to help shape the future of our enterprise systems.

The Role: The Technology: Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a powerful suite of business applications that helps organisations run smarter and more efficiently. Your manager will tailor a learning journey that will include hands on project experience, working with different teams such as:

  • Customer Engagement (CRM): Helps businesses keep track of customers and make sure they’re supported when they need it most.
  • Business Central (BC): Often used by smaller businesses to manage finances, operations and customer relationships.
  • Finance and Operations (ERP): The financial heartbeat of the business — managing money, resources, and planning for what’s ahead.

By the end of your learning journey you will be ready to step into a D365 Product Owner role. You’ll work directly with clients, support real projects, and help implement market‑leading software. You’ll collaborate across different teams, take ownership of small projects, and slowly build the confidence and expertise needed to take on larger product responsibilities. A D365 Product Owner acts as the link between business teams and technical teams. You’ll help define priorities, shape the product roadmap, and make sure we’re building tools that solve real user problems and deliver genuine business value. We’re looking for someone analytical, curious, and passionate about technology and product development.

Learning Breakdown: 90% of your learning will be achieved through hands on project experience, including:

  • Business Orientation: Get to know our organisation, how we work, and how technology drives value.
  • Project 1 – Systems Tester: Learn how systems behave, how users interact with them, and how to ensure the product meets quality standards.
  • Project 2 – Project Management / Analyst: Build skills in delivery, stakeholder management, and cross‑team collaboration.
  • Project 3 – Junior Product Owner: Learn how to build product strategy, manage a backlog, and drive value for the business.

10% of your learning will be achieved through professional development including core business soft skills as well as academic professional certification such as Project Management and expert certification in D365. You will also have the support of a wider Constellation Automotive Group Graduate community, skilled mentors and Learning Development experts. It will be your learning journey, developed with your Manager, but owned by you.

A little more on the hands‑on projects you will participate in:

  • Supporting Senior Product Owners with defining strategy and roadmaps
  • Running user testing sessions and improving features based on insights
  • Gathering and analysing feedback and data
  • Working with Engineering, Design, and Operations from idea to launch
  • Writing clear product requirements and supporting technical delivery
  • Tracking key metrics and recommending improvements
  • Managing tasks, progress, and presenting your work
  • Sharing updates with teams across the business
  • Helping gather and refine requirements with stakeholders
  • Supporting backlog management and sprint planning
  • Analysing product performance to spot opportunities

What skills are we looking for? The Junior role doesn’t need to know about Enterprise Applications or D365, but you must master these core skills:

  • Enthusiasm for understanding business problems and how technology can solve them
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to turn complex information into clear insights
  • A passion for technology, innovation, and customer experience
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Enjoys working in a fast‑paced and diverse environment
  • Confident with Microsoft Office and keen to learn more

The Selection Process: For first shortlisted candidates, we will be organising MS TEAMs interviews so we can get to know you more and you can ask us those important career questions. A F2F assessment centre will then follow, planned for either the 6th or 7th of May, in Hook, in Hampshire. This will give you the opportunity to meet your potential line manager, hear more about our company and role, and participate in some collaborative and individual exercises.

Your Academic Background? Recent Bachelor’s degree in: Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, or similar. Master’s degree (optional): Information Systems, or Engineering Management.
