Main Purpose of The Role: We are recruiting four vacancies across IT, for recent graduates! Two in our Enterprise Applications team and a further two in Technology Operations!
The Junior Collaboration Platform Engineer is part of the Collaboration Platform team within Technology Operations, with responsibility for the design, administration, configuration and specialist support of our M365 platforms. As a Junior Collaboration Platform Engineer, you’ll support our employees and teams across the businesses, driving positive user experience and frictionless collaboration throughout our tenants whilst maintaining best practice and security standards as defined in collaboration with Information Security.

You’ll collaborate across different teams, take ownership of project delivery, and have the confidence and expertise needed to take on larger platform responsibilities.
90% of your learning will be achieved through hands on project experience, including:
- Get to know our organisation, how we work, and how technology drives value.
- Learn & understand the Microsoft 365 technology stack, implement reporting and drive adoption and standardisation.
- Build skills in identity management, across Entra ID & Auth0 (customer facing identity).
- Learn how to improve standardisation and reduce manual effort through automation.
10% of your learning will be achieved through professional development including core business soft skills as well as academic professional certification such as Project Management and expert certification in AWS and DevOps.
You will also have the support of a wider Constellation Automotive Group Graduate community, skilled mentors and Learning Development experts. It will be your learning journey, developed with your Manager, but owned by you.
A little more on the hands‑on projects you will participate in:
- Assist with day-to-day support and administration of Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Exchange Online and Intune.
- Help manage collaboration artifacts such as Teams/Channels, SharePoint sites, M365 Groups, and distribution lists in line with governance.
- Contribute to improving service reliability through knowledge articles, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
- Assist in the rollout/adoption of M365 features (communications, guidance, FAQs).
- Writing clear platform requirements and supporting technical delivery.
- Designing and implementing platform reporting covering compliance, operations, insight and adoption.
- Learning and participating in Agile working practices, including sprint planning, team stand ups and retrospectives.
- Help maintain access hygiene: group ownership, stale accounts, license assignment, and audit evidence preparation.
- Work within ITSM processes (Incidents, Requests, Changes, Problems).
- Supporting backlog management and sprint planning.
- Utilising PowerShell and Microsoft Graph to implement automation and reporting across the Microsoft stack.
- Exploring Microsoft Graph for inventory, reporting, and automation opportunities.
