Salary: £30,000 + Company car

Location: Field based, requiring regular travel to the following locations – Cambridge, Leicester, Lincoln, Norwich and Peterborough

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Job Status: Permanent. Subject to a satisfactory credit check.

Main Purpose of The Role: The Partner Finance Audit team of approximately 16 are responsible for conducting stock and debenture audits at customer sites at least monthly. The role verifies the presence and status of all the finance vehicles, working with the customer and Partner Finance Asset team to confirm status and support in resolving issues that may arise. It involves close contact with Partner Finance customers and managing recovery situations, including the recovery of keys, V5s and vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan the monthly audit schedule with the Regional Audit and Recoveries Manager, ensuring all dealers are visited at the required frequency. Submit the schedule to the RARM at the beginning of each month.
  • Complete daily audits in an organised approach, minimizing driving time between audits.
  • Implement and strictly enforce the Stock Audit Procedure as defined by Partner Finance Credit and Risk management.
  • Communicate clearly and constructively with Partner Finance customers.
  • Compile and deliver daily reports of stock audit activity in the prescribed format.
  • Implement special instructions according to the Risk, Asset & Credit departments requirements when serious issues are identified.
  • Report all issues immediately to the Risk, Assets & Credit departments, notifying them whenever required according to the procedure.
  • Collect and hold keys and V5s when required.
  • Support the Regional Audit and Recoveries Manager in recovering vehicles from a customer back to a BCA site.
  • Respond and adapt to RARM requests at short notice to change your schedule and relocate where directed.

Knowledge and Experience Required:

  • Valid Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Good self‑discipline, organisational skills and ability to self‑manage, focus and adapt to achieve objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable dealing with customers including handling sensitive situations impacting BCA’s credit risk.
  • Good judgment and discretion when attending distress situations and dealing with customers in default.
