Location: Hybrid Role, working from home with occasional travel to BCA Sites

Working hours: 40 hours per week Monday – Friday

Main Purpose of The Role

The Junior Digital Project Manager supports the planning, coordination, and delivery of defined technology initiatives across the TechOps function. This role focuses on structured delivery execution, reporting, stakeholder coordination, and growing experience with delivering highly technical change within operational environments. The role is ideal for someone building their technical delivery capability under the guidance of senior Project and Programme Managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Delivery Execution
  • Support delivery of key technology initiatives.
  • Maintain project plans, milestones, actions, and RAID logs.
  • Track progress against agreed timelines and elevate risks early.
  • Ensure hands-on coordination of activities across technical and operational teams.
  • Technology Exposure & Learning
    • Work alongside engineering, infrastructure, networks, and workplace teams to understand delivery dependencies.
    • Support documentation of technical requirements, impacts, and delivery sequencing.
    • Develop confidence interpreting technical information and translating it into delivery actions.
  • Governance & Reporting
    • Maintain accurate project reporting and dashboards.
    • Facilitate governance forums with clear status updates and risks.
    • Ensure delivery artefacts are complete and up to date.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Coordinate key communications and updates to stakeholders.
    • Support Service Readiness Specialists with transition and handover activities.
    • Build confidence engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Delivery Quality & Continuous Improvement
    • Support retrospectives and lessons learned.
    • Adopt TechOps delivery standards and best practices.
    • Continuously build delivery and technical capability.

    Knowledge and Experience

    • Growing experience in project coordination and/or delivery roles within IT or technology environments.
    • Exposure to infrastructure, cloud, digital workplace, or operational technology change.
    • Strong organisational and communication skills.
    • Willingness to learn technical concepts and delivery best practices.
    • Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall delivery concepts.
    • Entry-level or working-towards Project and/or Delivery certifications desirable.
