Join BCA Logistics – Driving Excellence for We Buy Any Car
This is a varied and fast-paced role where you will be responsible for the planning and coordination of vehicle movements for our fleet of specialist drivers, who collect and deliver vehicles under the We Buy Any Car brand.
You will be the first point of contact for our field-based drivers, supporting them throughout the day with job details, vehicle availability, and general queries. As well as building strong working relationships with a remote team, you’ll also enjoy the camaraderie of a lively, office-based environment.
This role is ideally suited to someone who thrives in a busy office, enjoys problem-solving, and is looking to develop a professional career within the automotive sector. Working as part of a small and dedicated team, you’ll focus solely on the We Buy Any Car operation within BCA Logistics.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, allocate, and manage daily vehicle movement jobs for both employed and self-employed drivers.
- Ensure all work is scheduled in line with customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Consider each driver’s licence type, skills, availability, and working time directive (WTD) limits when planning.
- React quickly to real-time events including delays, breakdowns, and last-minute changes.
- Ensure all vehicle movements are recorded accurately on the system and allocated to available drivers.
- Liaise with third-party subcontractors, auction/site staff, and internal departments to maintain smooth operations.
- Enforce BCA Logistics’ driver code of conduct to uphold high professional standards.
- Support driver recruitment efforts by highlighting shortages or notifying leavers.
- Re-plan jobs where necessary due to aborts, failures, or operational changes.
- Minimise travel distances and associated costs through efficient route planning.
- Handle queries, complaints, and pay-related issues from drivers in a professional and timely manner.
