Overview

To assist with the daily operations of a busy auction centre through driving and parking various types of vehicles around the yard. Due to the size of our Auction Centres our Yard Operative roles may require a lot of walking and being on your feet throughout the day in all types of weather conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Moving a high volume of vehicles between the yard
  • Be responsible for jump starting vehicles when needed, on-site training provided
  • Politely refer any issues, queries, or complaints to the relevant manager
  • Undertake any other tasks in the yard department to ensure that operational requirements are met

Qualifications

  • Must hold a valid UK Driving Licence
  • Happy to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions
  • Able to follow instructions and work to tight deadlines
  • Willingness to help other departments out when needed
