Job Role – Vehicle Assessor
Salary - £14.11 per hour
Location - BCA Avonmouth (Bristol)
Working Hours - Saturday, Sunday and Monday 8am-2.30pm (18 hours)

Main purpose of the role
Do you have a good eye for detail and an interest in the motor industry?
As an Vehicle Assessor at BCA you would be part of the UK’s largest used vehicle business, generating vehicle cosmetic condition reports that enable varying makes, models, and value vehicles to be sold through our online platform. Assessing each vehicle with our in-house app - ensuring accuracy and consistency for our customers.
To accurately book in and record vehicle details for arrivals at the centre. Capture and enter details of vehicle information, condition, and documentation in a ‘right first time’ manner. Identify and report on any important vehicle information at point of arrival.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Booking vehicles in recording basic details and mileage using our handheld device
- Recording or verifying vehicle documentation
- Undertaking a brief inspection of items present and major or recent damage that could have occurred in transit
- Recovering and recording any loose items using our handheld devise
- Identifying and ordering standard services
- Recommending any enhancement services using your device
- Ensuring that the Company’s health and safety standards and practices are adhered to in the yard
- Supporting other area\'s of Branch operations as and when required
To be successful, you’ll bring some of the following experience with you:
- Driving Licence preferred but not essential
- Action & customer focused
- Quality of work / attention to detail
- Team player
- IT skills including use of mobile applications and forms
- Full training is provided but an interest in motor vehicles or experience in the trade is highly beneficial
