Responsibilities
- Carry out general mechanical repairs and servicing of vehicles.
- Undertake general tyre changing duties for a variety of vehicles.
- Complete air conditioning services as and when required.
- Undertake road and ramp testing and inspection as and when required.
- Carry out all repairs in line with approved methods to restore the vehicle to its original condition.
- Ascertain job requirements from the job card/estimate and record all time taken against the repair.
- Ensure that all documentation is accurately completed and that all Company procedures are followed.
- Conduct advanced vehicle diagnostic sessions with full operational understanding of manufacturer diagnostic equipment and techniques.
- Diagnose problems on vehicles in the workshop and, if needed, undertake electrical diagnosis on vehicles as required.
- Perform warranty repairs and provide suitable paperwork to aid the claims process in line with manufacturer standards.
- Ability to carry out full in depth technician and QCR reports.
