Main Purpose of The Role:
We’re looking for a proactive, hands-on Bodyshop Paint Supervisor to join our team at BCA Thurleigh. This is a key operational role where you’ll work closely with our bodyshop technicians on the workshop floor, ensuring smooth daily operations, high-quality output, and a motivated, high-performing team. If you bring extensive paint experience, strong technical knowledge, and the confidence to oversee a busy paint shop, this role gives you the chance to lead the core area of our bodyshop while setting the standard for quality and workflow.
Our selection process is designed to give you a clear understanding of the role and working environment. It includes on-site interview and a walk the process tour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate technicians to deliver safe, efficient, high-quality work.
- Coordinate daily workloads, monitor progress, and resolve issues to meet operational targets.
- Provide hands-on guidance, training, and mentoring to support skill development.
- Manage communication and HR tasks including briefings, attendance, holidays, and performance reviews.
Knowledge and Experience Required:
- Minimum 3 years’ supervisory or team-lead experience within a bodyshop or similar technical environment.
- At least 5 years’ hands-on experience as a paint technician.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel) with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
