Windsor Forest Colleges group is looking for a Lecturer in Multi Trades to join our Structural Technologies Department at Slough and Langley College on a full-time permanent basis.
Salary: £31,633 – £45,341 per year (T1‑T11). Working 37 hours per week Monday‑Friday.
Responsibilities
- Focus on delivering high‑quality teaching, learning, and assessment for learners studying a Level 1 Multi Trade Qualification.
- Preparing lesson plans, delivering instruction, setting individual student targets, conducting regular assessments.
- Acting as tutor providing academic and pastoral support to students, including those with behavioural and educational difficulties.
- Maintaining detailed student records, collaborating with parents and employers.
- Contributing to the development and quality assurance of the curriculum.
Qualifications
- Minimum Level 3 vocational qualification in a relevant trade sector.
- Level 2 qualification in English and Maths.
- Experience teaching learners with behavioural and educational needs.
- Ability to embed functional English and Maths skills into the vocational curriculum.
- Level 4 or 5 Teaching Qualification highly desirable.
