Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for an Industry Placement Advisor to join us on a full time, permanent basis working term time only for 41 weeks of the year. Working for 37 hours a week over 41 weeks the role pays H19 £24,655.89 up to H22 £27,144.12 (full time equivalent salary would be H19 £26,784 up to H22 £29,487), dependent on experience and qualifications.
The primary objective of this role is to act as a bridge between the professional world and education, supporting students in acquiring essential employability skills and securing high quality industry placements that fulfil the criteria set by both the college and awarding bodies. This role is ideal for professionals from diverse industry backgrounds - such as recruitment, account management, or business development - who are passionate about student development and helping young people launch their careers.
While this is a full time position (working during term time with 11 weeks off per year), we welcome applications from candidates seeking part-time hours - please specify your preferred working pattern in your personal statement. As part of your role, you will be required to work closely with external employers, which includes traveling to their locations and meeting them at their place of work to build lasting partnerships. This role will work mainly between our Slough & Langley and Berkshire College of Agriculture campuses; therefore, it is essential for the successful candidate to hold a full UK driver's license. While the college provides vehicles for official use, having access to your own car for flexibility would be advantageous.
