The Windsor Forest Colleges group is seeking a Curriculum Lead in Maths to join the Strode’s College team, beginning in August 2026. This is a permanent, full‑time position working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Teach and develop high-quality maths provision across at least three courses, including GCSE, A Level and A Level Further Mathematics.
  • Manage the daily delivery of maths learning, ensuring high standards of student engagement and academic outcomes.
  • Lead departmental quality assurance, supporting student assessment and the sharing of best practice.
  • Oversee induction and ongoing professional development for new staff.
  • Provide pastoral support to students aged 16–18 and promote safeguarding, inclusion and student welfare.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Level 5 teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards one.
  • Minimum Level 3 subject qualification in mathematics.
  • Level 2 proficiency in English and mathematics.
  • Significant college‑based teaching experience with a proven record of innovative and high‑impact learning.
  • Strong administrative skills and a firm commitment to safeguarding and inclusion.
