Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for an Animal Management Instructor to join our Animal Management and Science Department at Berkshire College of Agriculture campus on a full-time permanent basis.
The position of Animal Management Instructor is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, including working 1 weekend in 4. The role pays on support staff pay scale band H with a salary between H19 £29,496.22 and H22 £32,418.38.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrating, instructing, and assessing learners in animal management courses.
- Supervising students on the Animal Centre during duties and practical tasks.
- Leading the development, monitoring, and assessment of practical skills, implementing individual learner plans, and recording students' progress and attendance.
- Coordinating and inducting work placement students.
- Supporting lecturers and technicians in delivering units and professional development sessions.
- Assisting with the management of animal welfare and daily care, maintaining assessment records, carrying out routine animal tasks, and assisting with events and open days.
