Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for a Lecturer in Carpentry & Multi Trades to join our Slough and Langley College team starting in August 2026 on a permanent, full-time basis.
As a full-time Lecturer in Carpentry & Multi Trades, you will work 37 hours a week, Monday to Friday, with a primary focus on teaching and training students to reach a professional level in Carpentry and Multi Trades. The salary for this role is on the Academic Pay scale, ranging from T1 at £31,633.00 up to T11 at £45,341.00, depending on your specific experience and qualifications. The expected start date for this role is Thursday 20th August 2026.
You will lead both the classroom and the workshop to help students reach professional industry standards. Your focus will be managing teaching programs, assessing student progress, and maintaining high standards of discipline and morale. Specifically, you will deliver a broad foundation of construction skills, guiding students through the fundamentals of carpentry alongside essential tasters in plumbing, electrical, and decorative trades. To ensure our students stay ahead, you will also keep your own industry knowledge up to date through continuous professional development and engagement with the trade.
The successful candidate will bring relevant professional qualifications and recent industry experience. While not essential, it is advantageous if you have previously taught up to Level 2, hold a Level 4 or 5 teaching qualification, or possess a Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA).
