We are an established UK-based garment apparel importer with manufacturing capabilities in India, Bangladesh and China. We are launching a new, modern brand specializing in high-quality T-shirts, hoodies, and knitted garments. We are seeking a versatile Freelance Consultant to collaborate with us to create a compelling brand name and successfully secure its legal trademark in the UK.
Key Deliverables:
- Brand Naming: Brainstorm and present 5–10 modern, impactful, and culturally relevant stylish brand name concepts.
- Digital Check: Verify that the proposed names have available website domains (e.g., .com or .co.uk) and clear social media handles.
- Trademark Clearance Search: Conduct a comprehensive search of the UKIPO database to ensure the top name choices are entirely safe to use and do not infringe on existing brands under Class 25 (Apparel).
- UKIPO Filing: Prepare and manage the official trademark registration process with the UK Intellectual Property Office.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in fashion/retail brand naming or creative brand strategy.
- Direct experience with UKIPO trademark searches and filing processes.
- Deep understanding of contemporary, minimalist aesthetic trends.
