About the job:
- Daily challenge to the current internal model via Back Testing, comparing VaR with results from Credit activity.
- Addressing and resolving incidents due to the configuration and integration of FO and Risk systems, extracting fixed data, P&L vectors, sensitivities, etc.
- Developing tools to complement deficiencies in systems or improve efficiency if necessary.
- Participation in CIB SDA projects related to Credit Solutions or initiatives such as Global Credit FI ETFs.
- Utilising basic Business and Risk Tools for understanding/calculating metrics.
- Working with FO systems including Murex 3 and Star, as well as managing and parameterising Risk systems like Algorithmics and Mentor.
- Continuous daily communication with Business providing necessary metrics as a contrast area to ensure compliance with defined commitments in terms of limits or tolerance levels.
- Metrics to calculate: MIRM: Sensitivities, VaR, SVaR, monitoring maps with details of alert level consumption established with FO. Calculation of IRC. FRTB SA: SBM, RRAO, DRC. Monitoring P&L attributed to Credit activity based on sensitivities to understand and aim to replicate the Management account.
Essential Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Programming (SQL, Python, R, etc).
- Knowledge of Financial Markets and Products, as well as financial risk models for market, liquidity, and valuation.
- Expert level knowledge in Excel (or Office package).
- At least one year of experience in the Markets area.
- English level B2.
Desirable:
- Ability to analyse information in databases (SQL, Big Data).
- English level C1.
