Insurance Debt Advisory advises on debt advisory and capital structure to our clients.

About the job:

  • The position, reporting to Head of Insurance Debt Advisory, will mainly perform two functions:
    • Support business origination by stemming from actuarial advice, specifically in areas like ALM and Matching adjustment, linking such advice to cross sell BBVA product suite, on a product agnostic basis.
    • Complete our Insurance Debt Advisory offer, making it more rounded as compared to the advice currently provided.
  • Support Insurance Debt Advisory senior staff in analyzing clients, producing presentations and marketing documents, and executing mandates.

Qualifications:

  • Chartered Fellow of Institute of Actuaries, having been all of his career in a specialized consultancy business.
  • Experience in Solvency, ALM and Matching Adjustment, which fills in a knowledge gap that we have and that we believe can be useful for client advice.
  • Strong commercial skills.
  • Motivated to join our team, accepting that his role will have a support function to the team, in addition to an origination role leveraging on the fields on which he is an expert.
