The Working Capital Solutions at BBVA CIB is focused on promoting the development and commercialization of Supply Chain Finance (SCF) & Receivables Finance solutions in Europe (UK, France, Germany & Italy). We are looking for people who want to break the mold and who are ambitious, innovative, decisive, capable of seeking agile solutions and deciding independently in their area of responsibility, even in complex situations that our Clients may require.
To carry out our daily work successfully, we need rigorous professionals with a high orientation towards results, focusing on customer service, capable of interacting and coordinating both external clients and internal clients, and of course, who identifies with BBVA purpose and values.
Main functions
- Collaborate with the Head of Working Capital Solutions in defining the business strategy and commercial plan for the promotion of SCF and Receivables Finance solutions in Europe (UK, France, Germany & Italy).
- Lead the WCS team based in UK.
- Have in-depth knowledge of the SCF and Receivables Finance product catalogue, including, among other products: receivables finance programmes with insurance coverage, mass receivables programs, securitisations, third-party SCF platforms, Sustainable SCF.
- Support the origination, structuring and execution of SCF and Receivables Finance opportunities. Attend client meetings on a recurring basis with all bankers (Industry, Global, and Transactional) to support the origination and execution of operations.
- Receive and manage Requests for Proposals (RFP).
- Assist in the presentation of proposals to the necessary committees.
- Review and negotiate legal documentation in collaboration with Legal CIB.
- Contribute to the innovation and development of new solutions to enhance BBVA's Working Capital product catalogue. Lead the request for approval of new SCF and Receivables Finance products or improvements to existing ones in the necessary committees.
- Collaborate with the GTB Monitoring team in the development of procedures for the monitoring and follow-up of Receivables Finance operations, as well as keep up to date with the monitoring of already closed operations.
- Collaborate with the Distribution team in relation to Insurance policy management, opportunities to participate in transactions distributed by third parties as well as manage our own distribution of transactions.
- Measure, monitor and analyse, through management tools, the income generated by products by client and geography.
- Attend and participate in the organisation of forums and specialized meetings.
Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of SCF and Receivables Finance products and sales experience (+7 years of experience).
- Experience in Capital and Accounting will be highly valued.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective time management and presentation skills.
- Ability to interact with multiple nationalities, teams and environments, to coordinate teams across time zones and to negotiate in complex situations.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with a high commercial level in English and Spanish.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics or related field.
