The Trad & Sales Delegated Functions (Trading & Sales Support) business area in London is a key team within Global Markets, acting as the operational and strategic bridge between the Front Office (trading floor) and Back Office (operations). This department is responsible for providing daily desk support, ensuring accurate data reconciliation, analyzing discrepancies, and facilitating the smooth management of complex financial products—such as Fixed Income, Interest Rate Swaps (IRS), Credit Default Swaps (CDS), and Foreign Exchange (FX/FXO)—within a dynamic, fast-paced, and technology-driven international environment.

About the job: Are you looking to kickstart your career in High Finance and Global Markets? Join our Trad & Sales Delegated Functions team in London for a hands-on internship where you will learn how a fast-paced trading floor operates from the inside. You will closely support the team in daily activities, helping to bridge the gap between the Front and Back Office, and gaining unique exposure to international market operations.

What You Will Do

  • Trading Floor Support: Assist the team with daily desk activities, learning how international market operations and financial flows are managed.
  • Data & Reconciliation: Support the team in data analysis and help in the process of identifying and analyzing discrepancies or reconciliations.
  • Operational Bridge: Learn how different banking areas connect by collaborating as a supportive bridge between the Back Office and Front Office teams.
  • Daily Desk Collaboration: Participate in day-to-day administrative and analytical tasks to ensure smooth operations on the desk.

What We Are Looking For

  • Education: A degree (completed or in final year) with a clear career focus on Global Markets, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or similar.
  • Languages: English (Mandatory). Spanish is valued.
  • Key Competencies: Great attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and a strong desire to learn. A basic understanding or strong interest in Fixed Income is highly valued.
  • Tech Savvy: Good command of Office tools (especially Excel). A natural curiosity for data analysis and how technology transforms financial markets is a plus.
