We are looking for a Compensation Specialist with a hybrid profile across compensation and data analytics to join the CIB team. The role combines involvement in key compensation processes and projects with data analysis and management, contributing to decision-making and supporting process improvement and automation initiatives within a global environment.
You will be part of a global Compensation team within CIB, working closely with colleagues in Spain and other locations. The role offers exposure to key compensation processes as well as data and continuous improvement initiatives in an international setting.
About the job:- Analyse compensation data and produce reporting to support decision-making
- Contribute to core compensation processes (salary reviews, bonus cycles, etc.)
- Support the definition and maintenance of salary structures
- Manage, validate and analyse data using Google Sheets
- Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives within the Compensation team
- Identify opportunities to optimise data management and reporting processes
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across different geographies
- Experience in Compensation, HR Analytics or related areas
- Working knowledge of Workday (previous exposure to data management is a plus)
- Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets and/or Excel (experience with programming languages: SQL, Python, Apps script is a plus)
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
- Well-organised, with the ability to balance analytical work and process execution
- Interest or experience in data analytics and process automation
- Understanding of compensation structures and salary frameworks
- Experience in data analysis and reporting
- Experience working in international environments
- Spanish is highly valued, as the role involves regular interaction with Spain-based stakeholders
