BBS Recruitment is an independent recruitment agency for the transport and logistics sector, supplying to a variety of clients across London, Hertfordshire and surrounding areas. We also recruit for Social Care and Public Sector roles. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Children's Residential Support Worker to work for our client based in Whetstone and surrounding areas. The successful Children's Residential Worker will work in a 2 bed home, supporting 2 young people. Shift work and weekend work will apply. There is an onsite drive way to park.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • To work in a small team in order to support and implement the development of the children and young people's home.
  • To enhance and effect change to the good of all children with whom they work by acquiring the necessary skills through their own training and development.
  • To ensure that the young people's needs are recognised and met. This includes ensuring that they are free from discrimination within the home and to challenge discrimination from outside the home.
  • To protect the young people from harm in and outside the home.

Working hours: Shift Rota, Days and Night Shifts available

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service
  • Minimum of 2 years work experience in Children's Residential setting
