We are looking for reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join our client based in Swindon.
The successful candidates will support day-to-day warehouse and parcel handling operations, ensuring packages are processed accurately, safely and efficiently.
The role involves manual handling, sorting and scanning parcels, loading and unloading vehicles, and supporting the smooth running of warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities for the Warehouse Operative:
- Loading and unloading vehicles, trailers and containers safely.
- Sorting, scanning and routing parcels to the correct locations.
- Handling packages carefully to prevent damage or loss.
- Using scanning systems to track shipments accurately.
- Following all health and safety and manual handling procedures.
- Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and free from hazards.
- Working as part of a team to meet operational deadlines and productivity targets.
- Reporting damaged parcels, equipment faults or safety concerns to supervisors.
