The Role of a Class 2 Refuse Driver:
As an HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver, you will play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness of roads and public spaces throughout the borough.
Key Responsibilities for the Class 2 Refuse Driver:
- Drive and operate a Scarab Road Sweeper safely and efficiently.
- Clean roads, streets, car parks, and other public areas to a high standard.
- Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects.
- Ensure collected waste is disposed of safely and in accordance with environmental regulations.
- Complete all relevant paperwork and vehicle records accurately.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and road traffic legislation.
- Deliver a professional and courteous service while representing the client.
