BBS Recruitment is a fast-growing and dedicated recruitment agency, specialising in providing high-calibre professionals to both private and public sector organisations. We are offering a fantastic opportunity to fast-track your career in the recruitment industry while earning a recognised NVQ qualification in Recruitment within the first 12 -16 months. This programme combines hands-on, practical experience with structured learning. Apprentices will receive ongoing training, mentorship, and support throughout the course, covering key areas such as recruitment processes, candidate management, compliance, business development, and employment legislation. Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship and NVQ, you will have the opportunity to progress into a Recruitment Consultant role within BBS Recruitment, with a clear and structured career path leading into senior and management positions for high-performing individuals.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and attracting high-quality candidates using various sourcing methods
  • Screening CVs and shortlisting suitable applicants
  • Using job boards, networking, and social media to source talent
  • Writing and advertising job vacancies to maximise candidate engagement
  • Formatting and enhancing CVs into effective “sales documents”
  • Building and maintaining candidate relationships and networks
  • Qualifying candidates through interviews and pre-screening processes
  • Presenting opportunities to candidates and offering a consultative approach
  • Generating referrals and business leads through candidate interactions
  • Maintaining and updating the internal recruitment database/CRM system
  • Ensuring all candidate records are accurate and compliant
  • Assisting with right-to-work checks and compliance documentation
  • Booking interviews and coordinating schedules between clients and candidates
  • Managing candidate onboarding documentation and references
  • Supporting payroll and timesheet administration where required
  • Ensuring all processes align with recruitment compliance standards and legislation
  • General administrative support to the recruitment team

Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 10:00am – 17:00pm

Requirements:

  • I.T literate
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • GCSE Maths and English (Grade 4/C or above)
