Our client, a major company based in Harlow, is looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join their team on an ongoing basis.
Both day and night trunking shifts are available.
Key Responsibilities for HGV Class 1 Driver
- Carry out HGV Class 1 trunking work safely and efficiently.
- Complete scheduled trunking runs between designated locations.
- Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects promptly.
- Ensure all journeys are completed in accordance with company procedures and legal requirements.
- Complete relevant delivery and vehicle documentation accurately.
- Comply with drivers' hours, tachograph and road safety regulations.
- Maintain professional communication with depot staff, customers and other road users.
- Work independently while maintaining high standards of safety and reliability.

Requirements for HGV Class 1 Driver
- Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.
- Minimum 6 years' driving experience in the UK.
- Minimum age of 21 years.
- Valid Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Maximum of 6 points on your driving licence.
- Previous HGV Class 1 experience is preferred.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual and professional approach to work.
