We are currently recruiting a cleaner for our client based in Pontypridd.

The cleaner will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation across the school's internal areas.

Responsibility of a Cleaner:

• Clean and sanitise toilets, sinks, floors, cubicles, soap dispensers, hand dryers and accessible pipework.
• Vacuum, sweep and mop floors in classrooms, corridors and communal areas.
• Clean skirting boards, window cills, desks, shelves and other hard furnishings.
• Clean and sanitise shower areas and changing rooms.
• Clean and sanitise staff room sinks, work surfaces, floors and furnishings.
• Empty wastebins throughout the allocated areas and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Use cleaning equipment and products safely and in accordance with instructions.
• Use a scrubber dryer machine where provided and where trained to do so.
• Report any cleaning, maintenance, safety or hygiene issues to the appropriate supervisor.
• Maintain a professional, reliable and positive approach while working within the school environment.
• Be able to follow instructions and cleaning schedules.
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Have a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Be willing to undertake all relevant training.
