BBS Recruitment is an independent recruitment agency for the transport and logistics sector, supplying to a variety of clients across London, Hertfordshire and surrounding areas. We are currently recruiting for an experienced cleaner to work for our client based in Tottenham and surrounding areas. ONLY CANDIDATES WITH ENHANCED DBS AND EXPERIENCE WILL BE CONSIDERED.
Duties and Responsibilities of a Cleaner:
- Clean and sanitise changing rooms, toilets and showers.
- Ensure high standards of hygiene in poolside areas and around fitness equipment.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect floors and surfaces regularly.
- Replenish cleaning supplies and consumables (e.g. soap, toilet paper, paper towels).
- Safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Report any maintenance issues, damage, or hazards to management.
- Support a clean, welcoming, and safe environment for staff and visitors.
- Follow cleaning schedules and complete relevant checklists/documentation.
Shift Rota: MORNING SHIFTS ONLY Monday – Friday, 06.00am - 10am and 09.00am - 13.00pm.
Requirements for the cleaner:
- Enhanced DBS check.
- Experience of working as a Cleaner or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety in this area of work.
- A certificate in Infection Control.
