We are currently recruiting for a Scheduler for our client based in Croydon.
Responsibilities for Scheduler:
- Schedule and coordinate responsive repairs, maintenance and planned works.
- Allocate jobs to contractors and maintenance operatives based on availability, location, skills and priority.
- Manage and update appointments, ensuring works are scheduled within agreed timescales and service standards.
- Liaise with tenants to arrange suitable appointments and provide updates on repairs.
- Communicate regularly with contractors, operatives and internal teams regarding outstanding and completed works.
- Monitor repair requests and follow up on overdue or incomplete jobs.
- Deal professionally with customer queries and complaints, providing accurate information and appropriate solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, appointments and contractor activity using relevant housing or repairs management systems.
- Prioritise emergency, urgent and routine repairs appropriately.
- Ensure tenants are kept informed of any changes or delays to scheduled works.
- Support the effective delivery of a high-quality, customer-focused repairs service.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across housing, property and maintenance teams.
