BBS Recruitment is an independent recruitment agency for the transport and logistics sector, supplying to a variety of clients across London, Hertfordshire, and surrounding areas. We are currently recruiting for Bar Staff for our client based in Tower Hamlets.
The Bar Staff must have previous bar experience, be fast-paced and quick working, have experience with electronic till systems, maintain a professional attitude, work well in a team, possess customer service skills, and be able to work daytime and evening shifts.
Job Responsibilities for Bar Staff:- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Engage with customers, providing excellent service and assistance while taking drink orders.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic maths skills.
- Monitor inventory levels, restocking supplies as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to enhance the overall dining experience.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, ensuring a safe environment for both staff and patrons.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to maintain high levels of service.
- Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry is preferred.
