BBS Recruitment is an independent recruitment agency for the transport and logistics sector, supplying to a variety of clients across the UK. We are currently recruiting 7.5 T drivers to work for our client based in St Albans and surrounding areas.
Duties for 7.5 T Driver:
- Collect and transport food waste safely and efficiently.
- Operate the vehicle in compliance with all road safety regulations.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
- Assist with loading/unloading when required.
- Follow scheduled routes and complete assigned collections on time.
- Maintain good communication with the depot and team.
Working Hours: 6 /7am start. Monday - Friday
Requirements for 7.5 T Driver:
- Must have a minimum of six months’ driving experience in 7.5 T vehicles.
- Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card.
- Experience in waste management or similar roles is desirable.
- Good communication skills.
- No more than 6 points due to insurance reasons.
