BBS Recruitment is an independent recruitment agency for the transport and logistics sector, supplying to a variety of clients across the UK. We are currently recruiting a 3.5-ton (Van) refuse driver to work for our client based in the Hammersmith & Fulham area.
Job Details:
- AM & PM shifts available
- Working in Hammersmith and Fulham loading and unloading street bins
- Ongoing work, minimum 5 days a week
- Drive a 3.5 tonne vehicle to collect household or commercial waste and recycling
- Follow designated routes and schedules provided by the local authority or waste contractor
- Ensure safe operation of the vehicle in residential and urban areas
- Maintain accurate records of completed collections and report any issues or missed pickups
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE
- Provide courteous service when interacting with the public
Working hours: 8 hour shifts available
Requirements of Van drivers:
- Customer focused attitude
- Good communication skills
- Valid clean UK Category B licence, with at least one year refuse experience
- No more than 6 points due to insurance reasons
