My client is a multi-disciplinary Practice of Chartered Surveyors and Construction Consultants, working within the residential, commercial, education and leisure sectors. They now seek an experienced Clerk of Works for a full time, permanent employed role as follows:

  • Overseeing sites across London and the Home Counties, spanning all sectors
  • A member of the Institute of Clerk of Works or equivalent
  • At least 10 years practical construction related experience in monitoring works on site
  • Ensure works & materials on site meet the specifications and standards set by the client
  • Establish lines of communication with the project Employers Agent, Quantity Surveyor, architect, the contractors site supervisory / project manager
  • If requested, advise on materials, construction details, samples etc.
  • Assemble and record documents supplied for use on site and clarify how they are expected to be used
  • Be able to record findings via report style method

The suitable Clerk of Works will be well organised, client focused and technically competent with excellent communication skills.
