We are working with a well-regarded, independent, traditional managing agent established to manage blocks within Hertfordshire and the closely surrounding North London postcodes. Based in Hertford and with an almost entirely RMC client base, their service focuses on the smaller blocks often overlooked, overcharged and for the most part poorly regarded by the larger national management companies.

As a result of growth, an additional Property Manager / Block Manager is required for oversight of a demanding (but well run) portfolio as follows:

  • Working fully office based (bar site visits), Mon-Fri 9-5 from modern offices situated in Central Hertford.
  • Undertaking the full range of duties from budget setting to insurance provision and major works, in addition to daily resident liaison, contractor management and AGMs.
  • 3 years autonomous block management experience, with a stable career history.
  • Details oriented, with a strong customer focus and sense of lessee accountability.
  • TPI qualification preferred, but can be supported in post.
  • There is NO home working option, so property managers seeking this would not be suitable.

Salary for the successful Property Manager will start at up to 45k (depending on experience and qualification) with reviews and uplifts based on tenure and performance.
