We’re working with a long established, highly reputable firm of Chartered Surveyors based on the borders of East London and Essex. Within their administrative / booking team they require a competent Property Administrator / New Business Coordinator as follows:

  • Working office based (in East London on the Essex border) to start / whilst training, moving to part home working thereafter
  • Answer incoming calls, emails and website enquiries from potential clients/customers
  • Acknowledging enquiries, gathering the required information to provide quotes and responding with prices/availability
  • Booking initial consultations with Surveyors, Architects and other property professionals, enabling visits to properties to ascertain works
  • Following up initial quotations/visits to see if potential clients wish to proceed with the works outlined
  • Where quotations are accepted, drafting paperwork, obtaining signatures/deposits and booking in start dates for projects
  • Keeping clients up to date with the progress of projects whilst work is ongoing
  • Liaison across in-house departments as well as external specialists as required
  • Keeping up to date and accurate notes on client records using the in-house system

The suitable Property Administrator / New Business Coordinator will come from a stable career background, be able to multi-task, have excellent organisation and communication skills as well as proficiency in Outlook/Microsoft Office. In addition to flexible working, the successful Property Administrator / New Business Coordinator will enjoy compressed hours (the ability to earn extra holidays through slightly longer working days) and remuneration that will include a £26k basic salary, £4-10k in bonuses and pension.
