We’re working with the Housing Asset Management team of a London Borough. In a drive to ensure H&S compliance across their portfolio, they now seek an Asbestos Surveyor as follows:
- Working on a day rate of £200 for a minimum of 6 months (with a likely rolling extension thereafter)
- You will hold an Asbestos related qualification
- Undertaking Asbestos Surveys, preparing reports for the wider team / stakeholders
- Acting as a lead professional in all aspects of Asbestos Removal / Remedial works
- Overseeing appointed specialist contractors
- H&S Management and compliance
- Liaison with internal stakeholders as well as tenants/residents in relation to project updates and information
- You must drive and carry insurance for business use on your vehicle
The suitable Building Surveyor/Asbestos Surveyor will come from a residential projects background, hold an Asbestos qualification and be familiar working within local authority on social housing schemes. This position is offered on a £200 day rate on a rolling contract with a minimum 6 month term.
