Trainee Property Manager – Colchester (Hybrid) – £27-32k
Do you have 2 years’ experience in a property related environment – either lettings, sales, maintenance or similar? Would you like to apply your skillset in a dedicated leasehold block management environment with full support and training leading to recognised industry qualifications and a structured career path?
We’re working with a long-established Property Management company based in Colchester who are looking to hire an ambitious Trainee Property Manager as follows:
- Working on a hybrid basis, reporting into a Colchester office base 2 days per week.
- Focused on Leasehold Block Management, learning all aspects of the role whilst providing administrative support until ready to take on portfolio management responsibility autonomously.
- A combination of on-the-job learning and external study, leading to professional qualifications over time.
- You’ll be part of a friendly, supportive, and longstanding team.
- Starting by answering basic emails and calls, you will progress to visit sites under management, liaise with contractors undertaking projects and eventually set service charge budgets and deal with your own block portfolio.
- Previous property sector experience preferred, either lettings, sales or maintenance, although those from a strong customer service/administrative background with a genuine interest will also be considered.
- You must have your own vehicle for commuting to the office and site visits beyond (with all business mileage reimbursed through expense claims).
